I'm not to worried about it. Devs will do what they want to do, multiplat and 3rd party devs. They will make the best overall looking game they can. Devs will b able to make games just for neo, and Scorpio if they want. Microsoft wouldn't say no. Sony is gum a put out some crazy good looking games. All this will force Microsoft to also make the best looking games possible. Also it would be idiotic to only have the benifits for 4ktvs when 4k adoption is so low (5-10%??)

I think that's the plan...

I don't think that MS will force devs to make their games 4k native resolution we will most likely only see that from 1st party, Compared to Sony Microsoft 1st party don't really push their games graphically we have only seen that from 2nd party like Crytek and Remedy. If they somehow manage to make their games have the option between 4k native with medium settings and Suk 4k Upscaled at High/Ultra settings that would be great.

According to NeoGaf DR4 is only a 1 year exclusive similar deal like RotTR, Pretty crap deal from MS they need to start to actually secure Console Exclusives for life especially after the 1st party fiasco.

Yeah that's stupid. I as example can wait a year without  a problem to play especially singleplayer games. If I would have a PS4 I wouldn't give a fuck about games I want on XBO if I would know that I can get them a year later. I would only care if I could play them only on XBO or PC. 

MS has already fewer studios which they have to pump money in (and they don't push expensive graphics a lot), they could really pump more money in full exclusives from other devs then.

They need to start green lighting 3rd party exclusives right now, If they want to Push Win10/Xbox then they need more next E3 will be the most important one of them all. They should have offered Platinum Games a 2nd party contract like they did Undead Labs we know that they can pump out software like no other.

Scorpio will improve a little good optimized games, but it will be a huge improvement on not so good optimized games. The problem here is, if Scorpio or/and Neo are a success, why is going a developer to take time to optimize for PS4/Xbone?

No Scorpio exclusives.

Devs can do 4K, dont have to do 4K, can use power in different ways.

Previous games may see improvement such as dynamic resolution games staying 1080p.(like Halo 5)

Games will look different on 1080p screen, full benefit and image fidelity can only be reaped with a 4KTV for 4K games but it's still a viable purchase for 1080p owners.

Announcement made for the purpose of transparency, consumers can make an educated purchase if they want to buy the lower range but cheaper Xbox One S or the premium and more powerful Scorpio, developers can work out how they want to adapt the hardware.

Xbox One S will not play games better than the Xbox One.

Also they are bashing MS because they are giving people choice? WTF do you think they would get praise if they were to just abandon the XB1 and just call the Scorpio XB2? no they will still get flak from the gaming community meanwhile Sony will get praised for it.
