I am crossing my everything for a Lost Odyssey 2 announcement...

So what're you guys hoping for in Titanfall 2?I'm hoping that the story in the campaign is good and that it's fun and decently lengthed (at least 7 hours long) with good cut scenes. For online I hope they have all the same modes and good maps again and maybe like some smaller maps for pilot hunter so it doesn't feel like you're alone a lot (haven't played much pilot hunter so maybe it was just the couple of games I did play that it felt like.. The maps were too big) I hope they keep fronteir defense maybe with some different variants kinda like warzone firefight has different objectives, instead of just defending the harverster the whole time but if they don't change that up that's alright it's fun the way it is. And I don't really have any ideas for any new modes.

Oh and also maybe some more weapons, but I want them to keep the balance.

  • Decent length campaign with a good story.
  • All of the game modes that Titanfall ended up with, all of them at release this time. I want Titan only and Pilot only modes in addition to normal Pilot+Titan+AI modes.
  • Slightly better AI for MP, they were pretty much useless in Titanfall 1. Not good enough that they're a serious threat to you under normal circumstances, but good enough that they can kill you if you're already damaged if you're up against a large group of them. 
  • More weapons. Titanfall 1 had very few weapons compared to most modern shooters, which is one of the reason why people abandoned the game after about a month. 
  • More maps at release, and more after all of the DLC is finished. 
  • Some kind of 3rd option besides singleplayer and multiplayer would be nice, some kind of co-op wave mode perhaps. 
  • Free DLC, supported by a cosmetic loot box system with the option to spend real money on extra loot boxes.

 

 

Titanfall had free DLC I thought? At least I got it all for free :P and I don't know much about the launch of Titanfall. But I can agree with the AI thing they are kinda dumb but I kinda like it like that so I can kill them for free attrition points XD. And I like the idea of having modes with no AI in them just titans and pilots. and I can back the loot system as long if it's easy enough to get the things in game like PvZ GW or Halo 5

It was made a free about a year after release, it started as a $40 season pass I think. They made it free later because they realized that paid DLC splits the community, so hopefully this time it will be free from launch, supported by cosmetic loot boxes. Many other shooters are now going the free DLC + cosmetic loot box route; Halo 5, Overwatch, Gears 4 (though the free maps rotate unlike Halo 5 and Overwatch). 

Yeah, Titan only and pilot only modes are essential imo. Both were added to Titanfall 1 post release I think, but I want them both at launch this time. 

Loot boxs or reqs are actually a pretty fun thing to do. Its also keeps me coming for more so yeah titanfall 2 should have it.

Just played my first match of Titanfall!

So much fun! I get that people balked because of the missing campaign, but the game is just so much fun.

Nice! I'm Veknoid Outcast. I'm still learning the ropes, but doing OK so far. Any tips?
