I think Unreal 4 should be that single engine for Microsoft Studios, 5 of their games are already using it (Gears 4, Crackdown 3, Scalebound, Sea of Thieves, and Fable Legends pre cancellation). The only studios that shouldn't be unified behind Unreal 4 imo are Turn 10 and Playground, the engine Turn 10 has developed for Forza is pretty good and Unreal isn't as well suited to racing games. 

Both games dont have the sandbox that Halo 5 SP have and that take resources. I disagree that Black Ops 3 looks better than Halo 5 SP. With Halo 5 you also get perfect 60 fps . Call of Duty is 60 fps pr.  And we have seen nothing from Gears 4 MP. All coverage was 30 fps SP.  

And are you serious about Corrine ? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. One fucking person dont make a whole engine. 343 Industries still have the same developers that have made the Halo 4 engine. The main reason why Halo 4 was single best looking game was 30 fps SP and 6 + years experience with the hardware.

Well, Corrine is considered as one of the biggest geniuses on this planet if it comes to game engines and stuff like that. She does obviously not work alone but that doesn't change that one single person can make a big difference. Same goes for many other people on this planet. 

You should read more about her and what she did in the past to get called that good. It doesn't come from nowhere, she has some huge achievements which helped the industry a lot in this department.

I'd argue that Halo 5 was the best looking Halo to date, but the problem is that the engine they created was badly built. If anything, I think they should use Turn 10's proprietary engine over Unreal... 

Corrine wasn't the only reason it was good looking, yet she did a lot to ensure it ran smoothly, so having someone like her might have helped, but I also doubt she'd magically fix Halo 5. There's also the fact that programmers actually sacrificed the performance in favor of adding more effects and physics (the Prometheans alone take a lot of bandwidth)...

I'm considering doing a little contest thing to make it fair. Might be who is closest in the Meta league for the QB meta. We'll see though.

Makes me want a Halo RPG even more just to explore more of Sanghelios and go to the homeworld of every other species.

Sanghelios literally reminded me of both Xenoblade Chronicles X and Agni's Philosophy. It was gorgeous beyond belief... But besides a Halo RPG, I'd want to see if Fable IV is within 343's capabilities... That or a new IP... I already mentioned their CGI and rendering resembles Square Enix, so they are only a few steps away from doing an RPG that might be able to compete with FF...

However they could do a prequel, with the direction Halo 4 was going in with all the Forerunner lore and the Didact returning a Halo RPG would of fitted in so perfectly between Halo 4 and Halo 5 telling us the story of the Forerunners Vs Ancient Humanity, that way we wouldn't need to read books, stuff wouldn't have to be shoved into a few minute terminals or comic books, we would have a RPG which would tell us (most) of the important history about the Forerunners, Humanity and Flood 

With the direction Halo 5 is going in.....we don't really need that now sadly 

Halo 5 is indeed confusing to anyone who hasn't read the books, but it I liked it and think that an RPG that happens before the Covenant declares war on us sounds better...
