Couple of months ago a guy on Twitter asked Spencer if Xbox One will get exclusive JRPGs. Spencer then replied "You will get your JRPGs" or something like that. So where are they?

I've come to the conclusion that my X1 can't load and anniversary maps in mcc. I have been kicked the last 7 times when it's loading the map.

Don't feel too bad, me and tiago can't get Halo 2's campaign to load in co-op. Definitely still some issues with MCC.

That sucks . I play Halo 2 in co op online and it usually doesn't work on the first try. So me and my friend both restart the game and load up the mission again and it works. Have you tried doing that?

A redisigned console will be very interesting. Its been less than 2 years before the X1 came out and the 360 didn't get a redesign for almost 5 years so does the X1 need one? I think the console is very huge and heavy so they should make a smaller version but I don't think it should come until 2016.

We tried restarting once and it still didn't work. We decided to delay our Halo 2 playthrough until we finished the rest of the campaigns in the hopes that 343 will patch the issue before then.

hmm, that's really strange. Halo 3 and 4 should work well because those games had online co-op but I guess Halo 2 wasn't designed for online co-op and that causes problems.

Even though Halo 2 works for me in co op, I still have lots of problems. Sometimes it boots one of us out in the middle of the mission, or it fails to give any checkpoints or load cut scenes, and once we desynced right at the end of the mission which made it impossible to play. And once we finished the mission and it failed to credit my friend on the completion of the mission. So for him, it still says that the mission is incomplete.

Yeah, I think he said "There will be JRPG's on Xbox One". So far he hasn't delivered on that promise, every JRPG that has been announced for XB1 since he said that isn't coming to Xbox One. And of course there is no MS show at TGS this year, so yeah, things aren't looking great for us JRPG fans on Xbox. We're not even getting multiplat JRPG's, let alone exclusives : (

Yeah, that tweet got me hoping for a Lost Odyssey 2 or a new Blue Dragon. Btw, Spencer tweeted, in May, that we should "keep asking" for JRPGs. :P

Well, we have to remember that this generation is likely to be shorter than last gen, 6 years at most, maybe only 5. So the 1st redesign after 2 years does seem possible, with a 2nd redesign in maybe another 2-3 years. Xbox One has this image left from the Mattrick era of being a big, bulky, VCR wannabe, I could see Phil wanting to drop that lest remnant of his predcessor's mistakes. With the new Windows 10 dashboard releasing this year, MS could do a marketing campaign letting people know that both the clunky, slow UI and bulky, large exterior are gone, remove some of the negative images some people have in their minds when they think of XB1. Now is the perfect time to introduce XB1 Slim imo. We should also remember that that Halo 5 pro said Halo 5's Gamescom showing was mindblowing, I can't think of anything in-game that would be mind blowing, so what if the custom Halo 5 XB1 that 343 mentioned a few months ago is actually a custom XB1 slim?

All good reasons. Yeah, I think you're right although I don't think the X1 looks that bad.  Its very huge and bland, but if its safe and stops overheating then it's good. The PS4 which is significantly smaller, has a fan which makes more noise, so personally I prefer a quieter and bigger console over a smaller and louder one.

Do you guys think Rockstar might announce their next game at Gamescom?

Doubt it. If i remember correctly Rockstar rarely waits for a videogame event like E3 or Gamescom to announce their new games.

Yeah, I'm not expecting any Rockstar announcements at Gamescom. I prefer game announcements close to the release date rather than seeing trailers for games that are 1-2 years away.

Rise of the Tomb Raider On Xbox One Ready To Take On Fallout 4, 'Quality Will Speak For Itself'

Two of the biggest games of 2015 will be launching on the same day. Fallout 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider will be be hitting retail shelves on November 10th, 2015. Fallout 4 is obviously the most anticipated title out of the two given that fans have been waiting for several years to get their hands on it, but Game Director Brian Horton is confident that the quality of Rise of the Tomb Raider will speak for itself.

“We’re big fans of Fallout, it’s such a great game. But we believe we offer something completely different from a gaming experience point of view. We feel good about the date and the quality of the game will speak for itself,” Horton said to GamingBolt.

Fallout 4 will be launching on all major platforms so sales wise it will most likely perform better than Rise of the Tomb Raider given that it is an Xbox exclusive for the time being. We just have to wait and see how these two games perform critically.

Horton also stated that Rise of the Tomb Raider will appeal to all type of fans.

“If you’re a fan of Tomb Raider in all incarnations whether it’s the core classics, the legendary first era of Crystal Dynamics or the reboot, know that we’re going to have something a little bit for everyone in here. And we want the player to feel like they can play the game the way they want. So if you’re a fan of more stealth-based gameplay you can play it that way, if you like more action it’s there also.”

Man I saw Rare Replay at Walmart today but I want it digital. I doubt they'd have sold it anyway, probably would have come up Not For Sale.
