Rare Replay is Amazon's most-pre-ordered game announced at E3

Amazon has revealed the Top Ten most pre-ordered games revealed at this year’s E3.

On top are two Microsoft titles – game anthology Rare Replay comes in at No.1, while Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is second.

Then its two titles from Bethesda – the new Doom title and Dishonored 2.

And – perhaps unsurprisingly – the long-awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake also makes an apperance in this chart at No. 5.

The online retailer has also revealed the Top Ten games that saw the biggest uplift in pre-orders following E3. Forza Motorsport 6 topped this chart, with an increase in pre-orders of 1005 per cent, while Star Wars Battlefront’s pre-orders leaped 857 per cent.

Note this information tells us less than you might think. For example, we have no idea what pre-orders these games had before the LA show. Forza 6 might have only have one pre-order, with a further 1,005 people pre-ordering following E3. Without knowing the actual change in unit sales, this information does not tell us much.

“This year’s line-up of games was one of the best yet, with titles such as Fallout 4 and Uncharted 4 some of the most anticipated of recent years,” said Russell Jones, video games category leader.

“It’s great to see Forza Motorsport 6 and Rare Replay as the stand out winners, with customers responding incredibly well to their exciting presentations at the conference”.

Below is the most Top Ten most pre-ordered games and perpherals announced at E3:

3. Doom, Bethesda

lol their math is just horrible. They say "if Forza 6 had only one pre-order then the increase of 1000 percent could mean only 1000 pre-ordered games post E3"

Sure, because a jump of 1000 percent means 1000x as many sales^^

Gaming journalism ftw baby

I mean what's a couple 0s here and there anyway

Ya but let's face it, all these old EA DLCs go on sale for pennies constantly on deals with gold. Just buy the collection, and worry about the DLC later.

I mean every other weak might as well rotate between EA deals

Gears 4 I hope that we more story details soon.

We're not gonna get more story details soon on a Holiday 2016 title. Nor should we tbh. The fact that they showed us a gameplay section this early is frankly surprising enough

yea I was also only expecting a teaser, and I dont know how poeple can say characters are boring when you only hears a few lines of dialogue from each and were they expecting gears 4 to be a platform game? Of course its going to play the same, and graphcis wise I though looks fairly good for the dark segment they showed us.

Homefront. Never liked Fifa games.
