Guess I'm one of the few who hasn't played a single online match yet? I have finished the first 9 levels (and 2 bosses) of the campaign and found the scrolls for these levels (which meant having to play them multiple times on occasion); played two games in local multiplayer with my wife, but since she can't handle the camera stick on the pro controller there was no real challenge there
- I'll let here use the motion controls on the gampepad next time
.
I think the campaign is fun. I normally don't play shooters, but I like the fact that you can turn into a squid and jump from platform to platform, etc. To me the campaign feels more like a platform game, like Jak 2 or Super Mario Sunshine than a shooter. Only level 8 gave me some trouble so far, and that's mostly because it's a
lot like turf war
, I suppose.
I'll try multiplayer eventually, but not sure if I'll stay. I hope some of the (free) DLC will be for single player as well.
