I will go with an outlier and say either Metroid Prime 2 maybe Starfox Adventures.

I find it hard to see anyone who actually owns them both picking RE4.

I don't know as I barely played any of the games last gen. But I thought Knights of the Old Republic looked gorgeous. As did Metroid Prime.

Believe me that it only got mentioned twice because of misplaced hate. There were plenty of Xbox games that looked better than Gamecube and PS2 offerings. Not only do Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and Double Agent look phenomenally good on Xbox but if you look at their PS2 and GC (and Wii) counterparts, you'll notice just how much better they are on the Xbox. This is also apparent on many other third party games for the Xbox. I'll also add Doom 3, Guilty Gear X2 #Reload and Far Cry Vengeance to the list.

Splinter Cell-Double Agent (seems that so few have played it) on XBOX, it's better than its Wii counterpart. Almost identical to 360's
God of War 1 & 2
Far Cry. Just remember the water (XBOX)

 that has more to do with the forum then anything else. not much of a MS following around these parts.

also, there are some blind statements around. like when people say galaxy looks nearly as good as games on the ps3 and 360. don't get me wrong, galaxy is awesome, but comments like those are a bit naive.
