While Zelda U may become cross-platform like Twilight Princess, they will not ditch the Wii U version. It will happen regardless of whether the game is released on both console or not.

Nintendo has implied that the NX will not replace the Wii U as it is a different gaming tier. But that is a different discussion entirely.

The question is, would you find it funny if the delay was a big old troll. This is not a predictive thread. It is a what if scenario that will most likely never happen.
