While is certanly difficult, it is possible, seeing that splatoon is doing good at the launch.And as Mario kart 8 and smash bros, Splatoon is a title that will(probably) be supported through all of Wii U cycle, getting new content and such.So i dare to guess that Splatoon sales will come mostly from its legs.And if it has even half of the monstruous legs that mario kart 8 has, it certanly can reach 4 million in a couple of years.

But please can we stop with this threads? If the game ends up selling 2 milions it would be a success but it would look like MEH, and many people will use this predictions as a weapon. FW numbers can give us a more clear view of this, just wait until we have those numbers before making this risky predictions.

Between all this predictions "1 million in a month" then "1 million in 3 days", then "4 million lifetime and we don´t even know fw sales", you guys are making it so easy to be dissapointed when even 2m would be a huge surprise just 1 month ago.

Again, im not predicting 4mil, these threads are suppose to be higher than most expectations and asking if it can make it to "insert #" sales.

I think it currently it would be 3.1m max due to legs, though its likely a highly inaccurate guess as we don't know any numbers yet.

Although it looks like Japan will get 130K FW at least.
