Sony said their first party lineup is a little sparse.

And if you see some people saying that the XB1 has a better lineup, it's normal. XOne players didn't see a exclusive AAA release in the last 6 months, they have to do something else.

Ok, so they're relying on indie's to fix the problem? That's exactly where the line faulters. Most people don't want games like "fat princess" to be one of the biggest exclusives on the PS4 this holiday season. These games "may" be good, but no one is going to care. People want great games, like bloodborne. If Sony had two games that where as good as bloodborne for the holiday season, it would be a win. But since they don't, well...

Lol... You don't even know that there are other games than first party AAA and indies XD. OK, I'm done here, go inform yourself a little bit about what you're talking about before saying such nonsense, it will be better next time !

Who said Fat Princess was going to be released during the holiday season? And why would Sony have their 1st parties commit financial suicide during the holiday season? Sony is not going to shove 1st party exclusives to the holiday season just to appease a teeny tiny minority in the internet when it does not put those 1st party games in a good position to perform well.

Financial suicide? How so? By perhaps actually having a decent holiday lineup. And your mixing it up, your the minority. A lot of people agree, the PS4 lineup is "sparse" this holiday season.

Yes, I do actually. They're called third parties. Which by the way is what Sony is beting on. Also, look at this quote from sony:
"Our first party lineup is a little sparse this year, so I think this places even greater emphasis on getting good third party support"

There you go, THIRD PARTY SUPPORT! They want companies like EA and Activision to make games for them. Which I can get on the Xbox to, so yeah I'm not that sad.

Look at LittleBigPlanet 3 and see how that turned out. It does not make economical sense to release games among a tsunami of large AAA 3rd party games. And you misunderstood my "minority" statement. People who participate in forums are a minority of the entire video game market. Regardless, you keep spewing a lot of inaccuracies without taking the time to fact check. Sony's 1st party lineup is sparse, but the PS4's overall lineup is not. Your continuous insistence that "a lot of people agree" with you does not magically make your claim true.

So why do Microsoft exclusives do well? And for a whole year lineup, it isn't much better. Bloodborne was epic, but the order was a flop. There isn't much left in terms of first party games. But oh, tell me I'm wrong now.

Which Microsoft exclusives? If I remember correctly, neither Sunset Overdrive nor Forza Horizon 2 charted in NPD. Halo: MCC's multiplayer was a disaster for months.

And why limit to 1st parties? Let's ignore the fact that not only does the PS4 have more indies coming up, but also 3rd party exclusives. Let's ignore the fact that multiplats tend to perform better on the PS4, especially non-shooter multiplats. Need I remind you that the PS4 version of The Witcher III sold twice as much as the XBO version in the UK even though MS had marketing rights and the previous games never went on the PS3?

What 3rd party exclusives? Tell me. Also, games actually tend to have better FPS on XB1, here are just a few digitalfoundry videos on that:

Those are only a few examples. Also, RPG's have always been more popular on PS4 than XB1, so not surprised there.

@ Digital Foundry. Non-sequitor. A very unnecessary retaliation reply.

Google is your best friend and Tmfwang put a list up a while ago, so it is your fault for not paying attention. Also, JRPGs have always been more popular on Playstation, but not so for WRPGs. Last generation, The Witcher I & II never even sniffed the PS3. Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age II, and Skyrim all sold better on the 360. To see such a skew in The Witcher III distribution in the XBO's 2nd strongest market shows that MS has effectively lost a substantial portion of the WRPG fanbase.

Hmmm... Well look at it this way. The ENTIRE internet is saying the XB1 has a better lineup. Gaming sites, youtuber's, my damn old grandpapa is saying it. EVEN SONY said their lineup is a little "sparse". And with E3 coming up, and all the hype surrounding Microsoft's, while Sony's has been as quiet as a dead forest.

Xbox.com, IloveXboxone.net and Xboxoneforyou.de are not the "entire internet".

Look at this thread, no one agree with you. I still don't know why you keep posting here when you have another thread to debate about the better line-up.

Yeah, it's boring.
