Oh...that's odd...Why are people so convince it's going to bring a ton of games to the Xbox One? They do know that the Xbox One currently uses Windows 8 right? It's not like going to 10 is a huge departure from what they already have as far as similarities with Windows on PC.

at least they are new IPs and look better graphicly. Forza comes now out every year

Figured this thread was coming what with all the angsting over holiday 2015. Sony really doesn't have to do much at this point with so many other Japanese companies pumping out exclusives.

Well, i dunno who was saying the PS4 had no games. I personally said that the first party offering from Sony is lacking, and i still believe that. Hopefully they got something cool at E3.

Most likely a major reason this thread came about. Of course it all is just petty, leads to some entertainment though.

But thats just it though isn't it.

Look at what ultimately transpired in that thread. Wasn't a list in sight, and suddenly people are throwing games no one has every heard of at one another left, right and centre.

As you said, all extremely petty, and broadly irrelevant to the issue of games people are going buy and play, and games that are going to have any impact on sales.

Though, as I pointed out in that thread, the marriage between game quality and console sales has well and truly begun to break down.

And what games do you expect no one will play from that list? 

And i agree windows intergration will be pointless, as people wont play phone app games on their xbox. And they'll  still need work to work on the xbox. So most still wont work anyway. 

And when I do, you or someone else will tell me they intend to play it, and then we'll get into a debate about what constitutes enough sales for a game to 'count for something.'

Which is self-evident in the second part of your post, where you cast a judgement on what will constitute a valuable game to have on a system...its just going to go on, and on, and on.

I don't think it's petty. This thread is the perfect rebuttal to the users on this site who kept using that "No games" rhetoric. It's fair if anything to shove proof down those users throats. Is anymore known about the xbox one/W10 intergration and how it will work? 

But that, in itself, is mostly concocted offense.

There hasn't been a notable uptick in people saying anything like that. A lot of people have said Sony doesn't have a major showing of high profile games this year - including Sony.

All thats really changed lately is Xbox won the last NPD.
