I don't think it's petty. This thread is the perfect rebuttal to the users on this site who kept using that "No games" rhetoric. It's fair if anything to shove proof down those users throats. Is anymore known about the xbox one/W10 intergration and how it will work?

Even on this very site, depending on which silos you frequent, its just as easy to feel there is a horde of gloating Sony fans as it is to feel like Xbox fans are downplaying the just desserts of playstation.

This really puts things in perspective.

I have no preference these days. With the years I see a trend. It was never console superiority... developers go with whoever has the potential to generate more money for them... systems with the highest market share.

and gamers sit here and argue over.. I dunno, specs... while bigger minds are thinking how they can make money.

So, you consider the making of lists as petty, but what do you have to say about the downplaying going on right now that result in the creation of such lists?

Why should we only care about the holiday period? Isn't the rest of the year just as important? Or do you think gamers only play during the holiday period?

Well you have to stop changing the rules to fit your argument, if we are talking big games only then sony will have release 1 good (Bloodbourne) and 1 bad (The Order) for the entire year. MSFT will have had 3, Halo 5, ROTR, and Forza 6.

If we are including all games, then how can you say MSFT only focuses on holiday, when, Neverwinter, Ori and the Blind Forest, Screamride, and State of Decay have been releeased.


I would also include Gears, Fable to that list and PC games on xbox and not on any other system really is a great way to shorten your list.

You guys call this thread petty but for a guy like me who has been busy at work lately and hasn't really checked a lot of gaming news for a long time.

I found this thread very informative.

Oh! and I guess salty is a bad word now too. lol!

Thank you for that link. Had I seen that thread before, I wouldn't have needed to ask anything.

The facts are ps4 is 2:1 it's competitors, they have games for eferyone and is a reason they are winning. You may not like the games but there is always someone who will.

People buying a PS4 for games? Preposterous!

So far, 22M+ people have bought the console based on hot air and hype. The PS4 has no games that matter. Most of the games it has are games that are lucky to get a 60 on metacritics and no one will play them anyway, and the rest of the library is almost equally as bad since the other fanbases aren't interested in those games.

I tell you, it's all nothing more than hype. No merit. No good games whatsoever. Only hype. If you're enjoying the first party games you play on that console, you are doing it wrong.
