Mine too, but your saying VG found some source in 2008 on a super old gamecube game on brawl week?

| tryffel8 said: Ye, i thought is was strange before that Mario kart DD was the best selling GC game. Great to see it in the top 59 of the best selling games of all time. 7 million smash bros melee. It will take some time for Brawln to pass that. But i think it will. The hype now for both the Wii and the game itself are mutch bigger this time, just like the userbase. |
Brawl is likely to hit over 3 million after America launch.

DD was 6.62 I believe, Melee was 6.59, and Sunshine was 5.91(thank goodness I check Million sellers, alot.) |
yep - exactly correct
quick question: Why were the #'s adjusted just now??????? and not weeks ago?
These games are not tracked. Both the old figures and the new are based on Nintendo's at-the-time most-recent reported shipment numbers. Pokemon R/S and FR/LG were adjusted upwards too, and I believe several others.
All GBA/GC numbers are still not up-to-date. But I think all the big 5M+ sellers are.
The number above 7M for Melee was recently cited by Nintendo in a Brawl press release, but I haven't seen any of the others outside VGC.
"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.
