Forums - Gaming Discussion - Wii U version of Project CARS facing troubles, likely cancelled

well, there isnt that much difference between the wii u sales and xbox one so i dont think sales are the issue, then again xbox one is likely to have more potential customers for project cars as its community may be made of of people who bought the system for these kind of games. But then again Mario Kart for wii u  has sold more than half of the installed consoles, so...

sure it is, software sales at least which we can look at each system and see why one gets support and the other doesnt. Hell this makes Wii U look worse considering it was out a whole year earlier

it would sell terrible

Any reason why?  It doesn't have any direct competition does it?

The only thing it has to comete with is the ever popular but more cartoony Mario Kart.

are you kidding? have you seen the sales of non Ninty games on the system?

I dont understand the whole competition thing. Plenty of FPSs release all the time and while they all dont do COD numbers they still do respectable. So that whole competition is a fallacy the type of person who wants this game has a system to play it and it aint Ninty.

Ok.

I also thinks Mr Puggsly is proably right, that it would make more on the 360/PS3

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Yea, but i was refering not to sofwtare sales but harwdare ones, wii u has about 9.5 million and xbox one has 12 million, that means that the potential customers for each systeam wont be that much and shouldnt be an issue of why a game makes it to the xbox one and why it doenst for the wii u

i also wonder if they are using the gamepad and rendering things twice?

if so, wouldnt mind if they had to remove the rendering on the gamepad and just use it as another controller so that they can get the 30fps, still would be great to preserve the off tv

it still looks bad when the system with 12mil sold did it in a year less time than the 9mil one. They arent just thinking about selling first week but for as long as possible and sure the HW is 'close' now but eventually ONE will dust Wii U.

That and Xbox owners buy third party. Though personally i will probably need some time getting as much Xbone multiplats as i have for Wii U.

I wont say that the year of adventage ooks bad, but xbox one sales have also been dropping significantly recently

Dropping significantly is every week at least two times Wii U sales? So basically totally outselling Wii U?

Sidenote: While selling like dried shit in Japan...
