Japan is going crazy right now, about 9/10 days before games release shipments of the game already surpassed 120k (japan) and are very likely to shoot up.

yeah I know, it is more about US that I'm worrry about.  It has been in the top 20 on amazon for a while now but it hasn't shoot up that much either.  I know amazon isn't a good predictor for software but for comparison, Bloodborne was in the top 10 a week ealier and I believe it hit the top 5 a few days before release and all it manage was 300k, I expected more.  It also doesn't help that we don't have americas preorder from vgchartz.

Each VGC Nintendo fan will buy a copy so that's already 400k. Shouldn't be too hard to collect the last 100k from the rest of the world.

Da hell? There are not even that many active users on this site and not all Nintendo fans here will buy it fw or at all.

An xbox fanboy is saying this, but I think Splatoon can do 1 million first week, and 3-4 million lifetime. Since little is released on the Wii U, this will be gobbled up quickly.

Not gonna happen.

Also, as someone who already owns 20 retail Wii U games as well as several digital titles, that second point is not true at all. There are still many games out on the system that I want that I've yet to get, and that's without mentioning the plethora of games coming in the future. Sure, most of them aren't third party, but they still exist.

Not as if that matters, since the attach rate for consoles is typically around 10 games.

Shipment of Splatoon 120k over a week before release in japan. 150k will probably sell WW within its first couple of hours
