No wonder you came to that conclusion, you haven't played the best games on the system!

Aka The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Fire Emblem: Awakening.

If you own a 3DS, and haven't played either of these games, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Or not. Plenty of people don't have either which is perfectly fine as not everyone is gonna like any given game.

I feel some deja vu. You already made this threads didnt you?. I agree, handheld isnt my thing either for the same reasons .

I got Monster Hunter 4 though still sealed, I'd rather play with someone who isn't completely overpowered when I do start to play, so wouldn't mind starting a game along with someone else or a few other people.  Although with you living in Australia wouldn't work out so well.

Plus I am one of those "overpowered" players as I've been at it since Feb and have pretty decent gear. ;)

I can't play in the bus because of motion sickness and I rarely stay in one place long enough to bring the 3DS along (aside from work); so the only times I take the system with me are when I'm in a long trip that I will stay a few days in a hotel.

That said I somewhat agree with you, I like my 3DS but since I rarely play outside, might as well have all those games on a console.

It`s okay Curl, the 3DS understands : (

I've always loved handhelds but I can see why they aren't really for everyone, especially going from a TV or a computer screen to a tiny screen with limited buttons.

It's OK.

I've never had that problem--I have an XL. It has another problem: my god, I can always see the pixels. This should have really been 70% bigger, not 90%.

Come on OP you at least have to play Pokemon!

Honestly though I don't think it's you, the 3DS just isn't a great piece of hardware. The games are great but when you have to play them on crappy hardware it kind of sours the experience.

Also I'm kind of the opposite of you. I can't stand playing games on my TV because I get too distracted by things going on around me especially if it's in a living room. That's why I bought a desk and a 24" tv for my room that way I'll at least play my PS4 sometimes. I'd much rather play my Vita or 3DS compared to my PS4 and Wii U. I like curling up in bed with the screen close to me and some nice headphones and just getting lost in the game.
