You forgot Star Ocean and eternal Sonata which are both coming on the ps3.

Also Namco has said that tales will be on the ps3 at a later date. i no that 360 has more (for now) but they will not in the future. Thats what i think and due to the games that are coming out on ps3/360 most RPG vets will get a ps3.

I never said Sony will have the same RPGs that are on ps2 i no they will not but they will have more then the xbox in a year or 2 i bet you (again) on that. you are right chances are the ps3 will not be the RPG console that will be the wii but it  (ps3) will kill the 360 in that type of game i bet you on that.

Dno - I was/am only stating confirmed exclusives. Eternal Sonata is not exclusive, or a new IP for either system. Star Ocean 4 has not been confirmed to Playstation 3, nor Xbox 360. And since Infinite Undiscovery is a 360 IP from Tri-Ace (and they are hiring for more 360 programmers, and those that can port games from PS3>360), make me think that it'll be multiplatform.

You can argue that the PS3 will have better JRPG content, but thus far, I just do not see it....Both systems have good (and bad) lists of upcoming exclusives, and the X360 is well ahead of the PS3 in terms of actual JRPGs right now, by a huge margin.

It's not like Folklore was original. The gameplay was pretty much ripped directly from "Lost Kingdoms" though made the way you use the folk characters less complex to dumb in down for the average console player.

It even looks a lot like it.  Though obviously much better looking. 

Well I will let the sales of the games and the scores show you later this year. I dont think the xbox will have better RPGS then sony and time will tell that.

 Point is when 360 gets a JRPG with a score of over 85% then come back at me. Sony will have at least 3 and thats White knight, ff13 and ff13 vs, and  that means its has the BETTER RPGS so far not the most. I Feel it WILL have the most at later date but as of now it has the best coming to it and thats my point.

Point is, when the Playstation 3 gets a JRPG with a score over 75%, then come back at me. Microsoft will have atleast 3 80%+ games before Sony actually gets 1 shipped to the US.

Oh, come on, just FF13 owns everything on the 360, having a big load of bad RPG´s doesnt mean its better, I personally prefer having FF in my list than other RPG´s.

And not everybody comes from a country where english is the language they speak,  so dont rush on anybody who doesnt dominate it as well as you do.

Yeah I'm sorry guys, I'm an AVID ps3 supporter, but I'm going with Stickball on this one, the 360's needed to make up some massive ground in Japan and they really are fighting for that initiative. In terms of general RPG support the 360 is currently in the lead, which is kinda sad because there aren't that many rpgs yet, but even more sad for the Wii and PS3. There will be some amazing RPG's this generation, and I do believe the PS3's exclusive rpg's will be second to none, but as for right now the 360 is spanking our asses :P

Yes I have played other RPG´s, things like Radiata stories, Shining Force, Dragon quest, etc.... but I have to say I prefer FF, yes, these are entertaining but FF is better.

No....Im saying, have you played the said Xbox 360 RPGs that you state that an unreleased game will automatically own?
