If Paper Mario WiiU is True, How About..... Nintendo/Mario Characters as Partners?

Like how we have in MK now, crossing over franchises! But with Nintendo characters such as Link/Kirby/Pikachu/etc?

How do you feel about it? Rather have brand new characters like TTYD? Mario only characters such as Waluigi/Yoshi/etc? or SSB universe characters?

That'd be epic, but one thing I loved about the Mario RPG games were the completely new and original characters that were cool as hell.

Koops, Vivian, and Bobbery are some of my favorite characters of all time!

I really think Nintendo shouldn't mix all its franchises at every oportunity. It would kinda ruin the uniqueness of Smash. The Mario Universe is big and complex enough to bring great stories, don't need external cameos.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

we already kinda have an art style for them :)

TBH Nintendo should do more SMASH games. Paper Smash Bros. (bad name I know but basically paper mario with smach chars yes) Super Smash Kart etc. This way they kinda have free advertising for characters that are not so famous etc.

I mean Bayonetta should have been a character in Smash4 and Bayo2 would have some additional sales 100% sure. (not 1m+ extra sales but several thousand sales at least)
