True, some of the top people get one of those BS moment where you get hit by 3 things with a few seconds of each other. And people near the top could be because of lucky cut the corner. And all these go into Mario Kart strategy. But there is also that you must need to know where to use these items to get you to the top. Like this short cut and how to cut the corners. I would not complain about this short cut if it was at like the beginning, but I just hate how they give this huge of short cut at the very end.

But to consistent do well in Mario Kart, you need to have skill. All the little helpers you get will get you lucky every 5th race, but someone who knows how to play the game right will get near the top most of the time. Stuff like this short cut takes that away from experience

People might hate the coin, but in my opinion the Blooper is even worse.

The thundercloud is good if you get it really late, because then you don't have to worry about bumping into someone else to get rid of it. It's like a permanent mushroom, so you can take shortcuts all you want.
