Well you hardly sound chill to me, and yes it actually is disappointing, RPGs which to me, seem to be Japans favorite genre and shooting which is Japans least favorite genre. I guess I just expected more sales from XCX.

Did XCX stop selling in Japan or something?

As a matter of fact, I can see Splatoon moving some XCX bundles.

I don't understand? We're talking about first week sales and it seems like Splatoon will outsell XCX when comparing it's first week, and if it outsells the first week then it is highly likely that it will keep outselling it.

I predicted it would crack a million in a month and these numbers are making me believe it will happen.

If it is true then I feel sad for XCX looks a great game to me. Not into shooting and more of a single player RPG gamer. I'm still a day 1 XCX buyer and maybe Splatoon by the end of the year.

All those anime/manga artists loving the character design probably helped :)

Yes.. offcourse.. thats why.. It can't in any way be becourse of fun gameplay.. and a new type of game from Nintendo.. :)

Ont: This is nice to see.. but not to suprising.. (i'm one of the few, who knew this after last years e3)

And i'm also one of them (and we are few) who thinks splatoon (and mariomaker) will turn 8 gen upside down.. (8 gen casuals incomming)

While this sounds good, shipments does not equal sales.

Interested to see FW sales though.
