i agree, if you're talking about the wiiu. |
Of course we're talking about the Wii U, retails stores don't carry anything related to the vita. Lol.

In my book, The Wonderful 101 and DKC: Tropical Freeze alone take on the entire PS Vita library. But that's just from my point of view ^^
Samus Aran said: The good version is exclusive to Wii U. - Much better online - You only need one Wii U to play with your friends - 1080p and 60 fps - Much better graphics - Different stages and trophies - Different modes - More music tracks - Better controller options |
"Good version" implies more than one version exists. Hence better exclusive content lies on WiiU, but the game itself isn't exclusive.

But they are not the same game! The 3ds version is a downgrade version with half the content, you can´t compare that with Tearaway because one is a fighter game, a pick up and play game, you can have the wiiu version and the 3Ds one, because even if it´s a very inferior version it makes sense to play it on the go. |
Constantly one rule for Nintendo, another for Sony isn't it?
What about all the great Vita fighting games that don't exist because they're not Vita exclusive? (Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter X Tekken, Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom, Dead or Alive 5+ etc. etc.) Nobody is apparently interested in these because there are superior home console versions available, but when it comes to one thats on Wii U and 3DS, well, it suits handheld too so it makes sense?

Velocity 2X was never exclusive anyway for the purposes of this thread (hell, it's also digital only so not part of it) as it was a PS4 game too. However, not being exclusive doesn't mean the game isn't on the system. I actually counted Smash Bros as an exclusive in my list because it is so much better than the 3DS version. |
Well, the term exclusive in my books means that its avaliable on one system and one system alone... Not on any other system. The issue with the Vita is that not only does it have games that aren't exclusive to it, it has the worst versions of almost all the games... There are some clear graphical and performance downgrades into many of the console ports where as u take SSB on the wiiU for example... It is the best version there is which is very rare for the Vita.
Sure, the game is on the system but majority of the people have other systems instead of the Vita... The ps3 has over 80 million sales, the ps4 has over 20 million sales and it will continue to grow more and since a lot of the indie games are also on PC... You don't even need a decent PC to run them. And NIS + Idea Factory are starting to port games onto PC as well so oh look, even less "exclusives" in the future
But again, we can take out SSB4 easily as we take out two games on the Vita

Acevil said: That isn't completely true. It isn't completely different. Only game you shouldn't count is Smash based on the same logic. Given logic doesn't seem to exist in this thread at this point. |
Have either of you even played Tearaway? It uses the Vita front touch screen, rear touch pad, built in microphone, plus the front and rear facing camera not only has forms of controls but also as part of the story. PS4 doesn't have any of these standard with the console. And to make things worse the whole point of the game is that you are holding Iota's whole world in the palm of your hands looking down on it like a God, manipulating it using the before mentioned controls. You can't replicate that on PS4.

Now now, don't let experience and common sense get in the way of another good Vita has no gaemz bash.

They ARE the same game. Your post states as such: 3DS version is a downgrade version; hence, a second version of a pre-existing version. Two versions = no exclusive game, at all.
It doesn't matter what you want to do with the game. Take Tearaway and burn it during Las Hogueras de San Juan, or smash your Vita until it's nothing but small tiny fragments. Either thing won't void the fact that the new Smash Bros is NOT exclusive, because it is in two different videogame systems.
WiiU have exclusive content; exclusive content over the same game.

Then why did anyone include Velocity Ultra in there? Also I am pretty sure tearaway for ps4 is going to get a retail release
To BlowoverKing:
"So suddently, a new control scheme makes the entire game that has the exact same levels and etc an entirely new game? Right... I mean heck, whatever u lose in controls/gimmicks u gain in an extended story line on the ps4 so u gain some u lose some. It doesn't make it that much different in my books. Thats like saying RE4 on the wii wasn't a port from the GC version because the wii version now has motion controls"

The thing here is that I´m counting the WiiU versions as the superior one, I would not include the 3ds version if this were a psvita vs 3ds thing. And on my list I included Tearaway, I just said that is going to be the outdated version in no time.
