Are you ready for evoland 2?

If you haven't played Evoland one, I highly recommend checking it out, this one looks like it covers more. (The first game basically is about the evolution of the JRPG genre from 8-bit era to 3D era of graphics. )

Here are some screen shots from the official site http://www.evoland2.com/

The fact that the game will have some kind of StreetFighterbattle system at some point already disappoints me. (even if its just a single 1min bossfight or whatever)

What does this have to do with RPGs?

While you are at it why not make a racing game?

Yeah, that part really stands out and looks bad. Other than that though it looks alright, I've even added the first game to my steam wishlist

I dunno why for whatever reason all of the 3D footage looked kinda meh to me.
The 2D parts look more lively and kinda less empty.

btw
might have a steamkey left for the first one. But since some of those bundle sites got hacked a while ago and I lost alot of games it might be gone.

Neither steam nor the bundle sites care bout stolen keys (Fuck them!)

Anyways will check tomorrow or monday whether or not the game is gone and if its still there you can have it.

Hooooly Smokes, I haven't played the first, but I know it didn't cover that many game styles, and... I'm cool with that. Looks promising. I'll keep an eye on it ; )

First one wasn't even very good. Just had a great idea but focused more on the gimmick and references and less on actually making a good game. The end result was rather mediocre.

Well that is what the game was really about, making references to other rpgs. I felt it was just really short, and could have focused on each thing a bit more.
