I don't see the point of it. The fun part is having friends over.

It can also be fun to play with friends who are from elsewhere in the world.

Couch play is all good, and having the option to play split screen is always good., but in this day and age, online for multiplayer modes is pretty much mandatory.  That's where most people play multiplayer.

just because you dont like a genre or playstyle or gameplay segment, that not something negative. its something personal, and an unbiased review isnt about personal preferences

You can't review something without being subjective. As such, a review is always biased.

It would be a scoreless review, without any parts explaining how and why anything was appreciated by the reviewer. Hence, not a critique.

Avg user rateing is 9.0 for the game, and thats with a ton of nintendo fanatics giveing it perfect 10s.
Him giveing it a 8.5 out of 10 is pretty much in line with what the avg user thinks of the game.

Mario sunshine = 8.5 user avg on metacritics (lower than SMW3D)
Mario Galaxy I = 8.9 user avg on metacritics (lower than SMW3D)

and Id argue both are better games than SMW3D.

I dont think its deserving of a 9.0 score on Metacritics.

well other languages make clear distictions between obejective reviews and subjective(critiques)...
