I've been thinking recently, if the new Zelda game is released on both Wii U and NX (or whatever the next home console will be), will it change the way you view the Wii U? For me, I decided to buy the Wii U last year after the Zelda reveal at E3. I know that if the game releases on both systems, I'm going to get it on the next system since they will likely optimize the game for it. If this is true, the Wii U will be Nintendo's only home console without an exclusive, original Zelda title. This would make the Wii U my least favorite Nintendo console. Am I alone in thinking this? What about you guys?

Basically my thoughts exactly. If Wii U had no exclusive Zelda, it would be the worst Nintendo console in my eyes. 

I don't think Zelda U will be released on NX, NX is probably 2017. thing, and Zelda U will be released next year.

But maybe later will be ported to NX. 

In that case, it won't be any optimization for NX, for example only difference vs Twilight Princess GameCube and Twilight Princess Wii are motion controls, and people still thinks GC version is better.

I don't know but I bought a wiiu for Zelda. So far pretty impressed with the console as a fun thing to play with kids and wife but I game more solo on ps4. Zelda needs to come out on wiiu soon
