got any source for that? the fact is sony advertises their games, lets them launch on other consoles, has the best hardware, offers the best support and has the biggest install base. they dont need to pay any money.

Well, when a dev like Lab Zero Games talks about "exclusivity periods" where they can't release their game anywhere else, what excactly does that mean to you?

To me this doesn't sound like "we bring our game only to Sony devices because we like Sony so much"

Where exactly did people get from that Sony pays devs but only starting exactly at a specific size this dev has to have? Where did anyone ever write down "we as Sony pay only "AA" or bigger devs". Absolutely no clue why so many Sony fans think that.

because it was talked about before. Sony offers advertising and sometimes conference time for the indie devs in order for them to release thier game first on Playstation. usually indie devs dont have the man power to release on all consoles at once. they have to pick a platform to release on first. PS4 has the best hardware and by far the better sales, its the reasonable choice for indies. through in that Sony offers great support and markets the game for them and its even a better deal.

why would sony go around throwing money at every indie dev? they would be spending a lot of money they wont make back. again when you think about it, sony really dont need to give them money, Unless its a publishing deal then thats a totally different thing.

No Man Sky was to be released only on PC when VGA's roled up in 2013.

NMS didnt have platforms announced back when it was revealed. even after both sony and MS said they wanted the game on their consoles. phil spencer said so him self on twitter. they of course, went with the best option and that was PS4. and without a doubt them releasing on PS4 is the best thing to happen to NMS.

Of all of the things I would like on the Xbox One, indie games are pretty low on the list.
