I highly doubt this game will be played much by children to be honest. Sadly most childrens now a days plays rated m games like call of duty. Their Self-image is (keep in mind they will probl. be in the puberty) that they are very very mature already and it wont hurt their self-image to play those kids games. Thats the sadly truth.

Just broke an record in reaching 1 million $ is less then 24 hours. Its an cartoonish 3d plattformer though, made by ex-developers of rare (made nintendo games years ago).

I highly doubt that many kids are backing projects on kickstarters. Usually kids dont have tne money or possibilites (paypal account and co) to do so. 

This cartoonish games now a days are mainly played by adults who dont need to play all these mature games just to proove themselfs how adult they are.

Its just like with the SAW movies. Anybody older then 18 ever looked those movies? i highly doubt it, these movies are mainly watched by 13+ year olds.

well PSASBR was a "blantant ripoff" because it had fighting and characters from multiple franchises.  it didn't matter then that the games had differences in gameplay elements so i don't see why it should matter now.
