It was good, but entirely forgettable. COD4, Crysis and the Orange Box were much better games.

My honest opinions about the game

I think its a good game, I played the story mode in co-op mode with my cousins so that was fun. I only played the online for about a month then went back to playing Gears of War until the later games like Call of Duty 4 came out. But I still think its a good game.

The multiplayer on Halo 3 is second best compared to COD 4.
Both single campaigns in COD 4 and Halo 3 were a tad short.

Best multiplayer ever, completely rapes COD4 online.
I'm not sure of campaign though, seeing I never played it.

It's Halo. If you liked Halo 1 and 2, you will love Halo 3. If you didn't like those Halo games, you will wonder what all the hype is about.

I, personally, and not a Halo fan. Halo 3 did nothing to change my mind.

I thought Halo 2 was the worst of the 3.

It didn't seem polished to me.  Not to mention they really dumbified the weapons in 2.

Halo 3 was an incredible game, with great gameplay, incredible multiplayer with more room for growth than any other game, the best FPS on the market. Sorry guys

Easily one of the best games out

I find its multiplayer alot more enjoyable then COD 4 but thats my opinion
The campaign was really fun but not quite as "legendary" as i had hoped and is easily the weakest part of it.
