Now that I think of it, why is Magiarna the "Artificial pokemon"? Considering the amount of those that have popped up over the years (magnemite line, voltorb line, mewtwo, baltoy, banette, porygon...), all of them with more specific descriptions, why is Magiarna the one that gets the category?

I feel like something was lost in translation. I guess what they're trying to get across is that it was the first mechanical Pokemon to be built by humans, hence why it looks kind of like a Pokeball or something (I dunno). On a side note, which came first the Magiarna or the Pokeballs?

The answer is apricorn, the bonguri fruits.

From Bulbapedia:

In times gone by, the only Poké Balls that existed were made from Apricorns, with the process used to create the Poké Balls being developed sometime between 400 to 700 years before the present day in all Pokémon canons. As they were the only Poké Balls at the time, Apricorn Balls were quite common, unlike in modern times, when large companies such as Silph Co. and the Devon Corporation develop Poké Balls mechanically and mass-produce them for use by Trainers.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Hm, interesting. I've forgotten about that.

Something neat I just found out is that the Pokémon Super Bowl ad won the Youtube "AdBlitz" contest. Interesting to see people like the commercial so much even though it wasn't really advertising anything in particular. I honestly feel that this commercial spot would have been the perfect time to unveil "Pokémon Go" but I guess TPC has other plans...

What were the other ads? Any other popular ones?

Eh just a couple of cell phone commericals and one with a forced meme in it. Thinking about it now I guess it's shouldn't be that much of a surprise that Pokémon won. I guess it just struck that nice "inspriational message" that alot of people tend to like.

Magearna looks like Malicious...

So last night, I decided to try out Cloud Strife in Classic mode, I must say, I'm impressed:

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
