Yeah, I'll definitely give it a try. I think Bravely Default was a mess, but there was a lot of potential under it. It had serious flaws, but they're easily fixable.

Yeah I've enjoyed a lot of Bravely Default but the last third is really wearing at my patience.  I don't mind the repetition of the bosses, I mind the complete waste of the alternate universes.  The fact you only see the differences in select boss fight dialogues is a waste and the fact most bosses give no exp is just major Richard relocation (aka DICK MOVE).  But I have a big feeling given Square's disposition about the game the blame for all this probably falls on budget.  Cause Bravely Default is conspicuously low key for Square.  There's painfully few prerendered cutscenes (only 1 unless I'm missing something) even for the most dramatic of big moments. Which is highly unusual for an RPG from Square and the quality of the prerendered scenes is conspicuously low.  The overall feel of the game just screams budget cuts.  Especially in that latter third where it feels like they ran out of time and money and had to cut out cutscenes and party chats and probably quests.  But with BD being a success, Bravely Second probably has a far better budget.  The prerendered stuff definitely has seen an upgrade and it all looks bigger.  So here's hoping.

Zeah, the first one lost the oportunity to do so much cool stuff. But I do believe Bravely Second will have a better budget. At the very least it will have more budget to do new things, since it will reuse some assets(In the demo during the battle in the desert, they reuse the same desert battleground as the first one for example) so that in itself should free some budget to other things. But yeah, im really hoping they improve at everything, specially the storytelling. So far, from what i have seen in the demo, seems that they got their act together.Reviews should be released soon enough, and we will know

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I think that I'd prefer a shorter game, than just stretch its duration with repetitive fights and dialogues. That would make a good game. I don't understand the need to do this. And I hope that you're right and SE just acknowledge that mistake and make a great game with more budget to iron the flaws. I liked everything about it, but the last half of the game made a great game into a mediocre one. It's just to much to bear.

Heya, Cloudy here.

So... anyone got Final Fantasy Explorers? I bought it recently and am really enjoying it. If anyone else has it, would anyone like to try teaming up with me just for some fun?

It's about damn time! Congrats to Ultra! Cloud beating Nintendo characters at their own game, a fitting conclusion!
