Will be disappointing, but there is now a huge array of weapons to choose from so no complaints from me!

Hopefully they will increase the level cap and maybe have more gear, but all this content is already good enough as is

I think this weapon and the other map they annouced is the last content we are getting, and I belive that's it for updates as well (except for weapon balance and patches) so the level cap and the map rotation is going to stay the same (unless the devs change their mind)

Just to put it out now, this game is not impressing me.

It was the endings that were the real payoff for me.

Of course, it depends which ones you get; Miu and Yuri have two different endings each, and Ren has 4.

Just to put it out now, this game is not impressing me.

I could have told you as much. Regardless of all the curl-6 hype, Fatal Frame was never even close to a must-play game. It's slow-paced J-horror, so it requires a very specific gaming taste to keep your attention.

Hey, I never denied it was a niche product. :P

I've told people who were considering buying it on several occasions that they need to be a fan of slow paced old school horror to get the most out of it.

Chapter 14 should be the last, so you are almost done. The last chapter is very, very, very, very, very long though.

welp, typically I don't root for a game to end, but just for the sake of this game, it might be best for it to end. The story is at a stalemate(well, for most the game) and all the other issues I face. So it might be best that I'm only 2 chapters away.

This ending better live up to your hype curls.

It's impact depends on which one you get and how invested you are in the story.
