Here's Blaster's too while I'm at it. You can only one shot kill from a direct hit, so yeah damage ups are useless on them now.

So not as bad as I initially thought, but now that blasters can't ohko from even a slight distance, the nerf is still pretty big.. I guess you can still fire in quick sucession, though

Rumor: Nintendo Direct Happening on October 21st?

I've just got some information that might be interesting for you. We pretty much know that something big is happening this week and that it might be a new Nintendo Direct. And it seems like there actually will be a Direct on Wednesday, October 21st!
Here's all the information I could get:

-There will be a section on the new membership service right at the beginning. It sounds like it will start after the presentation and will be accessable through Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PC and smart devices.

-Nintendo's first mobile game is some sort of puzzle game placed in the Zelda universe. According to my source it will launch in November on Android and iOS devices.

-There will also be a Fit Meter app for Android and iOS devices. It basically replaces the Fit Meter that was launched alongside Wii Fit U in 2013. You can track data from your activities with your smartphone and connect it with your Wii U when you come back home.

-Wii U is getting digital preorders via the eshop. The first games, namely Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash and Xenoblade Chronicles X will be available to preorder after the presentation.

-Pikmin 4 will be shown. The source didn't really now when it comes out, but it definitely will be a Wii U game.

-Nintendo confirms development of a new Animal Crossing game for Wii U. It's coming in 2016.

-Nintendo is going to show "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD". It will launch exclusively for Wii U on January 22nd. Digital Preorders will also open on Wednesday.

-Wii U will get a price cut for the holidays and will now start at 199€/$199 for Basic packs and 249€/$249 for premium packs.

-New trailers for Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam will be shown.

-Nintendo announces all new "Inklings vs. Octolings" game mode for Splatoon.

-Mewtwo and Greninja will be playable in Pokken Tournament.

-Super Mario Maker is getting some free DLC packs. It will start with a beach pack after the presentation.

-Sega Master System Games are coming to Wii U Virtual Console. The first two games will be Sonic The Hedgehog and Alex Kidd in Miracle World. Fantasy Zone and Space Harrier will be added at a later date.

-Xenoblade Chronicles X expansion "Xenoblade Chronicles X: The Destiny" will be announced. Coming in Spring 2016.

-Yuga will be a playable character in Hyrule Warriors Legends.

-Quick Update on Star Fox Zero: new trailer and Demo version after the presentation.

-More Wii Games are coming to Nintendo eshop on Wii U.
-New Super Mario Bros. Wii: after the presentation
-The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword: November 5th
-Kirby's Epic Yarn: November 26th

-Lucas, Roy and Ryu amiibo will all launch in December.

-Rhythm Heaven: The Best Plus is coming to North America on December 11th.

-New Zelda Wii U Gameplay footage with Eiji Aonuma. The game will launch exclusively for Wii U in 2016.
