Now i have yetr to play Mario Maker, but if I had to choose betwenn tropical freeze and NSMBU, I would choose Tropical Freeze.Its a better game, in my opinion, though i have enjoyed Mario bros too

Well, I have played the Bayo 2 demo and I can't deny the quality and the visuals are awesome but I just don't think it's for me.  Not my usu tone or genre.  As for NSMB vs DKTF, I know DKTF is higher praised but I've never been too much of a DK man, partly due to the difficulty.  But hey, I have beaten Shovel Knight on both standard and new game plus so I will probably be fine.  There's also Hyrule Warriors and Pikmin 3 to consider.

 

But what I'm really excited for is what's coming the next several months.  Pokken, FAST, Xenoblade Chronicles X are three games I'm really looking forward to and of course I have an eye on Yoshi as well.  Star Fox also is on my radar of course.

Also, Roller nerf thankfully is not that bad!

Here's Blaster's too while I'm at it. You can only one shot kill from a direct hit, so yeah damage ups are useless on them now.

Between NSMBU and Tropical Freeze (can't recommend Mario Maker as I'm yet to buy it), I think it should be a no-brainer. NSMBU is just another NSMB game (even if it's "the best", it's nothing special, really), it feels generic and bland as always, while Tropical Freeze is easily one of the best platformers I've ever played.

Well, keep in mind two things:  I've never played a NSMB game and I've never been a big DK fan.  So it's more of a difficult decision for me :P .  But the prices on these aren't bad if I look around, might just get both.

Yoshi's Woolly World finally launched in North America today! I ended up getting the amiibo bundle, since the store had 7 copies of it and no blue Yarn Yoshi amiibo in sight. Probably going to end up being my favorite 2D platformer on the Wii U, so I'm pumped!

There is also the rerelease of NSMBU + Luigi U to consider, as it will be cheaper to get..

Hard to say though, since I have never really got into the DK series, but Mario is Mario so it can get a bit plain, though still fun. Have you thought about Yoshi Wooly's World?
