People can say what they want about Nintendo this year, but Splatoon and Super Mario Maker are big wins for me. :)
Yoshi's Woolly World is also a win, but not as big as the other two. Next up is Xenoblade Chronicles X, hopefully it's good.

$250? Isn't it just going to $350?

In japan is around 250$ (in its equivalent in yens).

Yeah but the pricecut itself is about $50. It previously cost around $340 and now it will cost about $290 in Japan.
If (when) this pricecut hits the west, we can expect it to then cost $350. I doubt it will ever go as low as $250 with how expensive the PS4 is to make and how much it's already selling.

Maths and prices aside XD, the point is that the NX will have to compete with a PS4 that will already have a huge hardware lead, a bigger and faster stream of software and will probably be cheaper than the NX. And that's even BEFORE the PS5 arrives.

If it's a fusion console it won't really have to compete, but just be its own thing.

I really hope it's the Fusion idea. Also, please don't be full digital, use the cartridges for retail.

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
That's good that they're continuing with the directs. I'm expecting one late September or early October. Hopefully we'll find out who the winners of the Smash Ballot are!

Yeah, Nintendo doesn't have the usual big hitters coming in the near future but that doesn't mean they don't have quite a good lineup. We just got Mario Maker and in the next 7 to 8 months we have Star Fox Zero, Yoshi's Wooly World, Fatal Frame V, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Mario Tennis, Genei Ibun Roku #FE, and Pokken Tournament. And these are supported with smaller offerings like Amiibo Festival and Project Treasure. Plus you have some good indies, with FAST Racing Neo being a major standout. That's a pretty nice looking lineup if you ask me, especially when you consider the fact taht they are all exclussives. I won't get/play them all, but it's a quality collection nonetheless and diversifies the Wii U's offerings.
