MonHunX is Monster Hunter 4.5-II 
Essentially though they arent ready for 5 (and understandabley so) but they cant just stop making new games. MonHunX is basically a stop gap until 5, although that is putting rather harshly. I guess you could call it this gens Monster Hunter Portable. Im sure it will still be freaking amazing. Did laugh when I saw it listed as the first game in the 5th generation of Monster Hunter on Wikipedia though

I just found it really weird why they would make another Monster Hunter game that is really similar to the original series..
I mean, Monster Hunter Stories was announced not too long ago as their spin of MH game..
