I guess it's typical this is under the radar since he's relatively unknown compared to Miyamoto, Sakamoto, Yokoi, and Kondo, but Genyo Takeda, long-time director of Nintendo and Technology Fellow, is going to retire in a couple of months according to the Nintendo financial report shown from last night. So one of the old guard is stepping down

Just want to give him a shout out here because he's done so much for Nintendo since the 70s. Congrats on his retirement, more than well deserved. For those who don't know, he's been heavily involved in making Nintendo consoles and was involved in the Punch Out! series among other things.
