The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Takes Place After Ocarina of Time

"Game Informer has now posted a rather fun quickfire video with Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma, in which they answer snappy questions about the series and some quirky topics. It's worth a watch for some of the lighter moments, but there are also a couple of interesting little details. For example we learn that Link doesn't have a full spoken line, though we know voice acting is a part of the game. In an intriguing reveal for timeline fans, Aonuma-san also states that Breath of the Wild takes place after The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time."

I still think this game will merge all three timelines together to clear up the convoluted timeline :p

They have referenced The Elder Scrolls multiple times in inspiration.  I wonder if they decided to borrow the concept of a Dragon Break?  That would be cool.  And it seems it may.  We see landmarks and races from across the timelines.  We see both Zora and an even more bird-like Rito.  And since we know the Rito are the changed Zora in Wind Waker, that does speak to an event of some sort that has made all events on the timelines reality, with the reconciliation resulting in elements from all timelines appearing here.
