Probably so, but I've logged over 100 hours in Xenoblade X already so I won't be double dipping for the port, assuming there is one D:

I've completed all six games, so I'll warn you about what's to come. Although you seem to be more generous as far as story quality is concerned, so you might be more accepting of the lows of the series.

PL1 - Established a solid framework for the series that all sequels followed.
PL2 - Refinement of the formula, features the best story.
PL3 - Things might start to get stale here. The story is the most stupid and headscratching one in the series, easily. It's at this point that I stopped buying the games on release and waited for price drops on the following games, because the disappointment was that big.

PL4 - Reinforced my decision to wait for price drops. Story is only marginally better than in PL3.
PL5 - Story improved a bit again, but the overall package is significantly better than in any of the four DS games. That's because the DLC was changed from more of the same puzzles that are thrown at you in the main game to plain logic tasks that are reminiscent of Slither Link, Hashi and the like; and there are hundreds of these puzzles, not just dozens.
PL6 - Quality of the story falls between PL4 and PL5, but the DLC is the best in the series because the selection of those logic puzzles is slightly better than in PL5.

Haven't beaten the game, or gotten off the 1st island for that matter, but I did see a guide about EVs

Also, are you just busy or aren't you enjoying the game? I was completely addictes to this one, I thinl I've beaten the firrst two islands in a day XD.
