Forums - Sony - Atlus Bringing Abyss Odyssey to PS4

Atlus is publishing the PlayStation 4 version of ACE Team’s sidescrolling action adventure under the name Abyss Odyssey: Extended Dream Edition.

Atlus reckons that PS4 players will get the “best version” of the game. But they’re going to say that, however, it’s a statement that isn’t unfounded. After all, the Extended Dream Edition gets a 1080p upgrade, the new versus mode with two-player online multiplayer and four-player local multiplayer, Warlock reveals, and expanded move set for enemies, combat balances, and “various other gameplay additions.”

The console version also gets Golem from Zeno Clash as a new mini-boss. Plus, there are new Tirana mini-bosses called the White Phantom and the Warlock Titan (“a unique final boss who you might encounter fighting alongside one the original Warlock’s many forms”).

EDIT: Wrong thread.

Nice kick in the teeth to the original buyers, apart from that it;s good to get more gamers but I can't say I;m fond of the practice of their marketing.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
