Is this for real...

Dude it's Peggle 2, Madden and like 7 other games for $30 a year. Seriously one of the best values. I mean if you don't play EA games then it's obviously not for you.

$30×how long this generation continues, since you constantly need to be a member to play any EA Access downloaded games. Peggle 2 was $12 and Fifa 15 was $60 ( From Amazon it's $45 new ATM. Therefore for the two game you want you'll only pay $57 which by just using EA Access for two years would cost you $60. Does it seem like a good deal now, especially since you still need to pay more than those two years so as not to lose those games. Sure you can probably come out with the argument " I like more than those two games from what is available I'm EA Access" but are you really a fan of all of those games, are you really a fan of all of those sports games that you can't live without buying those games ( or buying them when they're at a much cheaper price, like bargain bin prices ). You can bring up the case that hardcore sport gamers will save a lot of money and then I'll bring up the rebuttal "Hardcore sport gamers would have already bought and played to death all of those sports games before they come out on the vault more than 6 months later"

It's established that if you do not like sports games, this service isn't for you. Most of what EA does are sports games, that's a fact.

What I don't understand is why you choose to only use two examples in Peggle 2 and FIFA 15, Mymuro and I have stated there are more games that are presently in the vault. I could argue and agree, that it wasn't worth the price in the beginning, but the library has grown pretty healthy since then. Next game will most likely be DA I.

Again if you were to calculate over let's say a two year period of what's in their now in its depreciated state even, that it would be more than $60, the cost of two years of EA Access. You also need to consider the 10% discount on digital new games and reduced DLC.

Lets sum this up. Is EA Access for everyone? Absolutely not. It's for those who enjoy EA games and don't buy a lot of new games a year. Am I really a fan of these games. Some yes, some no. I've put over 300 hours in NHL 15, which I got for $50. What I'm saying is, people find value in different things. What's good for some, is not compatible with others.

Yup. Because Fifa 15 is the sole game in EA Access. -__-

Look straight into my eyes and tell me with upmost sincerity that you want to play peggle 2. Look straight into my eyes and tell me you want to play any sports game even if it's not latest one ( Fifa 14 and Madden 25 ).

I got Fifa 14 and played it several times with friends. On my xbox one and theirs. It may not suit your taste but Fifa sells millions of copies every year so it sure as hell suits some tastes. Not sure why you're trying to make an addition of a game on a service that will not increase in price after the addition is what's really "weak" here.

Op: Hurry up with dragon age Ea.

So what I'm getting at here is that you bought Fifa 14 when Fifa 15 was released ( which is what the point you quoted of me wanted to state )

No, got it at xbox one launch. Still play it.

It's the current Fifa being added though...

So you'd rather they not put it...

I'm no fan of EA Access but I dont see how adding a low or high cost game is weak?

He's saying he'd rather they did it earlier. Because everyone who wants to play Fifa 15... is playing Fifa 15.

And that's what makes EA happy. If they can sell more, they are giving less away for *free* while still earning the subcription money of those who subscribed. It's business. Companies can't be completely happy panda with their customers and expect to return a profit.

The vault has like 12 games. They have to give time for the games to sell. 8 months is pretty good. That means 4 months of fifa 15 until fifa 16 which a lot of xbox one users needn't pay extra.

You'd rather they have not started it? Why, if you don't like EA Access, dont get it. It shouldn't affect you in any way then when games are put free on the paid service.

@last paragraph: I also didn't like what Microsoft were doing with Xbox live and I didn't buy it. Guess what?..It proved to still be popular enough for Sony to take up the model.

@first paragraph: Fifa 15 on Xbox One sold only 168,111 units in 2015 ( up till now ). I don't think EA should have kept the game for just 168,111 units, yet they still deemed it worthy enough to keep it away from EA Access for the first 5 months of the year. It's quite clear that if a game has long legs you won't be seeing it in EA Access any time soon.

168,000 * lets say £15 = £2,415,000

That doesn't even include digital.

Now lets estimate 500,000 EA Access subscribers, paying £4 a month.
£2,000,000

And a lot of those EA Access subscribers hardly subscribed solely for fifa.
So basically, EA made an extra £2,000,000 this year that they wouldn't have made if they gave it for free much earlier in the year.

But as soon as sales slowed down, they're giving it for free.
Lack of sales revenue on fifa would be hopefully offset by current and new subscribers.

In conclusion, there's a reason why EA are one of the most financially stable companies, because they are smart business wise.
If they were to appeal to the better nature of their consumers, they wouldn't make as much money, which means, less invested in games.
This way, they are still honouring their commitments (Games added to the vault) while being reasonably smart.

I don't like EA Access for I assume the same reason as you don't, I don't want UBI and ACTI to move to this, then everyone will have sub models I feel like I have to get. But no one can deny its value.

A $60 game added to the vault and people still try to debate that its not good value.

They can if they think long term. If they gave it away for free earlier and other games the increase in subscriptions over time would increase profits.

Really weak. Everyone even my grandma has already played this game. Paying £19.99 a year to get access to a game which has been bundled excessively and you can probably find for £15 now is overall very weak.

I didn't buy Fifa15 and I have EA Access... teehee!!
