No the normal mario games are still platformers, spin-offs shouldnt be counted. FF had also countless of spin-off like tactics or even action games. With mega man at least they had the X-series, mario still looks like mario which is not a bad thing tough.

What the hell do you want them to do? Judging by this post and a couple of your last, they all contradict themselves! Whats Mario suppose to be Taller now? Have Robot arms? I dunno how this works, im srry :(

I am not saying that but its obviously that its way less than the other third party this picture showed. How is it fair to argue FF is always the same if it has a new universe with every game? I dont need to do research for that to point that out.

I take Rol seriously, but in a funny way. He is funny in a serious way, or serious in a funny way... I think he don´t even know when is being serious... but hey, he is a genuine and clever user, or maybe not, i´m never sure, dam, he is strange. I like him though.

Not all realistic animations get outdated and ugly, though; that's a misconception. If you work hard enough to polish every single aspect, you can get timeless realistic art styles.
