you could say that for most games. The cool thing about shovelware is ti doesnt even need to sell that much to turn a profit. Just Dance just needs to sell 250,000 copies to make money so i can only imagine how much the cheaper games need to sell to see profit, considering there were so many i would guess not a lot. 

I don't really consider Just Dance shovelware. I was talking about the likes of Anubis II and Ninja Breadman. And that Carnival game that sold way too much.

Im with Samus on this one. Epic Mickey was REALLY overrated despite selling well (IMHO it was so overrated that it led to the sequel not doing nearly as well despite being multiplat, but thats a discussion for another time)...actually i only agree with the Epic Mickey part. I dont know why he's dismissing Okami since people love to bring up RE4 as a point of reference in saying that those types of games could have sold on Wii(not getting into that)

I found Epic Mickey to be just okay, but it wasn't exactly bad.

I'm not dismissing it, it's just that the Wii U also had lot's of ports of good games. Batman Arkham City being the best example.

But why though? What is the different between Just Dance and the dozens of other dance games released on said system? I mean the game still controlled and played like crap, just like other ones,(clearly due to limitations of technology) Is the difference in sales. Cause then you cant dismiss Carnival Games then. Or Deca Sports, or Zumba or hell even that Jillian Micheals thing sold. I think even the Bachelor moved some units.

I'm not dismissing it, it's just that the Wii U also had lot's of ports of good games. Batman Arkham City being the best example.

I agree with that, problem is the WIi U doesnt get those ports anymore and hasnt gotten them since the first year. Yes the WIi ports for the most part were horrible unless they were from the generation prior, but the Wii got them and kept getting them for most of its life.

thats fair, but IMHO thats how i feel about MOST of the games i have played or own on Wii they are just OK and for me personally thats not going to cut it, and i imagine alot of people felt that way too(judging by sales of some of these games) not where there are systems that could be bought that offer better experience at least as far as 3rd parties go.

Tantalus is working on a third party port and there's a very reliable rumour that 3 more ports are coming up.

the fact that you have to say "probably" kind of proves my point. Where are the Mirror's Edge?, New Mass Effect?, new COD? New AC, New Batman? Tekken 7? Destiny? Star Wars Battlefront? FF15, KH3, Witcher? Elder Scrolls Online? Just Cause 3? Mad Max? Ill stop there but i think you see what im saying

The Wii didn't get a lot of great games either though. From your list it only got CoD.
