So? Maybe these devs should get their act together.
Hmm, pie.
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become Steam.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Wow!. That's terrible. I've only noticed a tiny bit of a drop maybe once. Bloodborne on the other hand. It's definitely done some weird stuff, even with the sound.
I played some more of Ether One
I enjoy the game itself..but i'm probably gonna stop playing till whatever months of patches it needs to be sorted out
Aside from performance issues, there's also some bugs. Like graphical glitches (blocky shadows appearing out of nowhere and mutating), some things getting stretched... Occasional audio bug, pausing the game causes music to stop until the next track is supposed to play. Hasn't happened to me but on GAF also read that some people fell through the floor and that broke the game, forcing to start a new one..
I also met a crash that occurs always on the same optional puzzle (being optional doesn't make it okay, I want to do all of them and If I can't then I can't keep playing), making it impossible to complete
So yeah, it's a goddamn mess. Dare I say, worse state than Tower of guns cause it's not just optimization/performance, but also plenty of bugs and crashes.
I don't bother with most PS+ games. There's a reason the devs jump on the money so soon after their games PSN release. They know their games suck, as does most indie garbage released.
Here I thought you were going to say Apotheon & Ether One. Apotheon STILL crashes all the time, and Ether One apparently has a habit of corrupting saves (or did at launch - I'm waiting for another patch). One was rushed, the other...well, Ijust don't think the devs care. Never playing another Alien Trap game again.
Lol are you being serious?
For one you're making it seem like Ether One is a totally broken game when all that's really missing is inverted options.
And two these "technical" messes, is just frame rate which almost every game has problems with.

I think 20fps is a very generous estimate for Blighttown, I think it was more around 15 on PS3 - and that awful black-green filter in the area still gives me nightmares. |
Even worse I believe. Blighttown at the very top of its entrance even stutters to me. It feels like it goes down to a single digit. I died few times in my first playthrough because of it. I couldn't even rotate the camera. But once reached the "bridge"/long platform below it was fine. I mean, even if it was 20fps at the first bonfire I sure didn't notice.
