Sorry but that's how sales sites work. We talk about sales and the causes of those sales. If you can't take it then that's your problem.

Now the real question is what game is actually going to make Wii U sell 3.4m for FY15? They're pretty bad with forecasts and there's no Zelda. So what is there? Splatoon?

E3? Definitely wait for E3. And maybe a price cut

We'll have to wait for E3 regardless. As it stands now the Wii U is definitely gonna start falling behind in June.

Not in hell,3.4m with a price cut, that would be bad...

I feel that the forecast suggests that wii u price won't drop this year...

Well Sony beat their games forecast and makes a loss. Nintendo does less then their forecast and makes a profit. MS ????= $billions profit.

Odd financials, but at least Sony had a write down (otherwise profit) and Nintendo and MS made a profit.

Gaming at least is pretty healthy besides HW numbers.

Well considering that Sonys initial forecast was a massive loss it's not surprising that even after beating it they are still making a loss.

And if we only look at gaming then Sony did make money, more than Nintendo.

Oh, so this site is made to be saying the same over and over and over just because it makes you feel better to be remarking the fails of another company every week. He is telling exactly the same everybody has been telling for the last 7 months, not a single change on the arguments. It´s annoying.

Actually the changes are these financial results.

Yes, because this iluminating financial results are giving us a new whole perspective. Nintendo was waiting for 3.6 m shipped for Wiiu and at the end is 3.4m, that changes it everything right? And 3DS is 8.8 m intead of 9m, wow! This must be for some reason that we haven´t discuss 100 times by now... right? Or maybe just the perfect time to shit a little bit more about exactly the same.

Those Mario Kart sales are awesome. Good for them. And a very nice profit as well.

But WiiU hardware sales are absolutely atrocious. It's crazy how long people held on hope for the situation to improve. Mario Kart seems to have made a very good impression - but not at boosting the amount of owners, only keeping the current owners happy.

Shame. Can't see anything changing that now. Gonna be interesting to see what happens in the next year with 3DS declining and WiiU such a non-starter.

I'm sorry but I need to step in and comment.  This is ridiculous.

These are new results and they will spark discussion, some new, some old... and if you cant stand the content of a cold-facts results thread then I suggest  you stay our of them.  Now can you get on topic or will you continue to derail?

New results, old discussion. And the cold facts are the same now than 6 months ago, so dont excuse it. And yes, I´m out of here, keep enjoying the thread.

Well...yeah...because apparently that 3.6 was the lowball. Being 200k lower than your lowball when you have your biggest games out is terrible.

Thanks.  bye.

BTW I just want to point out that nintendo did hit the Wii U target. Their target wasn't 3.6 sold to consumers but 3.6 sold to retailers aka Shipped numbers.

Isn't this almost as equal as the Sony Computer Entreteinmant profit?
