Well considering most games coming out by 2018 would need to be in development now, I think this is likely the case for all the big 3 :p
If he was specifically talking about 2015 E3 reveals or 2016 releases then I'd be excited. Reassuring news anyway.

Reminds me of that "we're going to release 15 games in the first year of the X1" or the "we're going to release 20 games in the first year of the PS4" that we got from both companies in 2013, nothing but meaningless fluff, though it's probably the best way he could've responded to a question like that.
Over what time scale? There are always more unannounced games than announced games if you extend the time scale out far enough. The reason a lot of games are unannounced is because they haven't necessarily decided the game is worth making to completion. The question is how many greenlit games there are that have not yet been announced, that will be releasing in the next 24 months or so?

Not trying to downplay or be a dick, but to my knowledge the list of announced exclusives isn't really that huge so I'm not surprised.
