I really don't think that film will go down in anyway like the series of the same name. As I said in the Avengers thread "Avengers: Age Of Ultron was not about Wolverine going back in time twice to stop Ultron from ruling the future."

I mean for 1, there just aren't enough established heroes to make it a war, it's be a scrap at best.

I know the chances are low. I'm just hoping he shows up in some capacity. Even a small cameo would be awesome.

The connected world would be good but as I cannot fathom the idea of the next Cap film, I just don't know how they are going to do it. I did mention to someone that the best thing about Spider-man in the MCU isn't him being an Avenger (for me he's not a traditional one after all, never join until like 10 years ago if that) but because of his friendship with DareDevil. It would be great to see Spider-man in that or visa versa.

They could just have Spider-man too in the films and TV shows, they don't need a big name actor to take of his mask. The character is enough.

Hmm, pie.

Well I said earlier in the thread that recent rumours suggest that Nat Wolff (20), Asa Butterfield (18), Tom Holland (18), Timothee Chalamet (19) and Liam James (18) are being considered for the role. Those are all pretty unknown guys so you might get that wish.

Well, they've got to work fast (the last guy may be 18 but doesn't look the role at all, too beefy). The best Spider-man they could have in the MCU is a Spider-man like Ultimate, as in a kid. The films so far focused on last year of school followed by work/uni. This is Peter Parker in later life, Spider-man should a kid at the start, as in 15-16. One of the better moments of Ultimate comics early one was when the ultimates found out just how young Spider-man really was. I mean to quote them "But he's just a kid."

That is the type of effect Spider-man should have, sadly Garfield and Maguire just looked too old.

(Around the time, Spider-man took out some realy powerful people so it added to the effect.)

Hmm, pie.

A reboot of a reboot, it goes without saying that this is ridiculous at best.

The Amazing Spider-Man wasn't the best thing I've ever seen, that's for sure. That's mostly due to how terrible Electro was done.
It started getting better near the end and I did enjoy Dane's goblin, and I was getting very excited to see how they were going to continue with the Sinister Six. But NOPE.

What I wonder is why is Marvel so obssesed with including Spiderman on the Avengers?

because he is part of team?

In the comics, Spider-man was offered twice to be part of the Avengers and he declined both.

and yet, he just team up with then in all big events (Civil War, Axis, Original Sin, House of M, etc etc etc)

I wouldn't call "team up" in Civil War, especially when Iron Man is so deemed on forcing Spider-Man to reveal his real identity. And I don't remember Spidey teaming up with someone in House of M (Wasn't that the parallel universe where Spiderman was an actor?).

You're right about Original Sin and such, but that's beyond the point. He was never an avenger; I wouldn't mind a cameo or a helpful hand, but as far as I know, they're trying to make him an avenger in the movie.

you guys are all distracted from the most important question,..  who is casted as MJ?

she's hot.

We need another one of these? Damn we didn't need more than 2, now its just getting milked to death.
