I enjoyed Toby's spiderman movies. It might be from nostalgia, or the fact that I was young enough back then that I wasn't as critical or sour lol.

With that being said I've never liked the face of the amazing spider man actor and felt like he didn't belong, but MAN the ASM 2 movie was sweeeet in theaters! Iirc we saw it in 3D and the effects were very well done.

What I wonder is why is Marvel so obssesed with including Spiderman on the Avengers?

Because spiderman is the money maker in the merchandise world, hes more popular than all of the others put together.

Go check your local Disney store.

Sony would be foolish to not allow a connected universe of Spider-man and Avengers, truely foolish but they are allowing it so watch the money for both companies role in. We knew this ages ago.

Now Fox are the ones ruining everything. No mutants, no Marvel Universe.

Hmm, pie.

Daredevil is part of their Cinematic Universe. His story takes place directly after The Avengers. I'm hoping that he shows up in Captain America: Civil War in some capacity.

I really don't think that film will go down in anyway like the series of the same name. As I said in the Avengers thread "Avengers: Age Of Ultron was not about Wolverine going back in time twice to stop Ultron from ruling the future."

I mean for 1, there just aren't enough established heroes to make it a war, it's be a scrap at best.

Because Spidey is key to the Civil war and what follows.

Without Spidey the civil war story arch won't be the same :

###### spoilers ########

Spidey starts off on the fence between tonys government cronies and captains freedom fighters, Stark convinces him so he joins him and is used as an example of tonys regime, but then he realises Tony Stark is douche after manipulating heroes and villains alike, and killing his own friends, so he switches sides and joins Cap.

Bummer. These constant reboots and changes in the actors that portray comic book characters serve only to harm the overall impact of the movies in my opinion. I really liked The Amazing Spider-Man movie. I haven't watched the sequel yet but I was hoping that the recent actor playing Peter Park would have time to grow and evolve as the franchise went on. I personally enjoyed his portrayal quite a bit, he was quite energetic and full of charisma.

I know the chances are low. I'm just hoping he shows up in some capacity. Even a small cameo would be awesome.

It has been confirmed that Spiderman is being rebooted. No one in the public realm knows the name of the reboot as of yet. All we know is that Sony has made an agreement with Marvel to include Spiderman in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the process they have scrapped the Amazing Spiderman, and any sequels that were planned (Sinister Six).

I find it quite frustrating actually. I really enjoyed the first Amazing Spiderman, the sequel was not as good (it was still good in my opinion), but it built the foundations for potentially a great sequel. It is a slap to the fans and the actors involved. They should have just agreed to do a Spiderman for the Avengers separate to the Amazing Spiderman films.

Agreed 100%.
