The wii won't be as good graphically but it will be more fun with the Wii mote!!!!

We have had a similar thread of this possibly coming out, i posted it because Dan Akroyd confirmed it.

This stuff is really old. That footage is from January, the interview is from March. I have my doubts. Sony owns the Ghostbusters, don't they?

I don;t know? but why would Dan akroyd lie???

lol You make it sound like he is the most trustworthy individual ever :) I'm not saying he is lying. But, I certainly haven't heard anything about it since they showed the footage the first time in January. I wasn't even aware that this interview ever took place. So, maybe it's a step in the right direction?

here is another link http://celebrities.netscape.com/story/2007/02/03/-new-dan-aykroyd-lets-slip-that-there-is-a-new-ghostbusters-video-game/ NEW* Dan Aykroyd lets slip that there *IS* a new Ghostbusters… Celebrities – After much brouhaha regarding the Zootfly video, Dan Aykroyd lets slip that Universal bought the rights from Sony and he will be working next year on the upcoming game. I wonder if we'll get to see symmetrical book stacking?

Is that the Unreal 3 engine? If so (repeat, if), then either the Unreal 2 engine will be used on the Wii, or they will fit 3 in there, despite Epic's claims.

They may not have all the rights, just as Sony obviously doesn't have all the rights to Spider Man.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

GB3 = video game Posted on March 5, 2007 http://protoncharging.com/gb/2007/03/05/gb3-video-game/ I should learn to go with my first instinct - given how close together Dan Aykroyd was talking about GB3, a GB video game, and how GB3 would be CGI, I initially assumed that he might have meant GB3 would be a video game. After hearing him on the radio interview, I second quessed myself. And now, I’m going back to my original supposition - according to more talk from Aykroyd, GB3 will be a video game. [UPDATE] Go to the 6 minute mark for Dan’s comments on Ghostbusters. “More of a chance to see the video game in ‘08.” Aykroyd expands on the rumours, suggesting that it is in production, and will be available in “all formats.” Though I doubt the all formats part, it’s certainly well understood that GB game needs to be on most major platforms to succeed as best possible. I run a GB website, and even I’m not prepared to buy a PS3 to play a GB game.

If Universal bought the rights, it could definitely be a step in the right direction. And it's definitely using the Unreal 3 Engine. That run in the beginning is almost like a modified crouch-run in Gears of War.

So is that good if it is using the unreal engine for wii??

Epic is known to say that the Unreal 3 Engine currently "could not work" on the Wii. It could, but I imagine it would be scaled down ... a lot. http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Epic-No-Unreal-Engine-3-For-Wii-2694.html
