There have been a few okay ones, namely Save the Earth and Unleashed. I have some confidence in this new one, mainly because it's the first one that actually uses the right camera angles and level design to make you feel like Godzilla, rampaging through a city. I dunno, even save the earth felt kind of half baked to me. The slower paced combat of kaiju films just doesn'i seem to translate well into video games, where players expect fast responses.
Maybe a Monster Hunter/Souls/Bloodborne like style of weightier combat might work...

I guess. I still enjoyed them as a kid. What I've seen definitely looks like it worth a shot.
