It won't matter to people who already have either a PS4 or an XBO. However, it might influence consumers who haven't jumped into current gen, yet. This will especially be true if Sony does have marketing rights and decides to release a Black Ops III bundle.

If anything, neither of them have the exclusive marketing rights.

I agree. Until proven otherwise, COD has become platform agnostic.

This makes more sense than the current rumors. The PS4 is likely the lead platform seeing as it was for AW, and they have to show it running on something.
