I don't think this is much of a stretch at all, considering the Splatoon bundle being exclusive at Best Buy, and the original Xenoblade being exclusive at GameStop.

It might be but the way I'm thinking is the reason they're doing this Direct today is to get a nice big blowout because the game is coming right after E3 and don't want to spend too much time talking about the game there and a May Direct would take away from Splatoon.

Splatoon Direct-May 8 or 15
E3-June 16-18, one last time to hype up Xenoblade
June 26-release date
